There are a few possible reasons the charger may not function after being connected to the power supply: 1. The charger's voltage and current ratings do not match your battery. You may have purchased a charger with the wrong parameters. Please provide the brand and model of your electric bike, or the parameters and plug of the original charger. 2. Due to the limited lifespan of lithium batteries, the charger may not work if the battery is damaged, particularly if the battery has not been used for more than 12 months or 2-3 months. 3. If the green light turns on when the power is connected, but the LED does not turn red after the battery is connected, the connector may be loose or in poor contact. Reconnecting the plug can help maintain proper contact. 4. If there is a green light when plugged into the power supply, and the light goes out after connecting the electric bicycle, it could be due to an internal short circuit in the electric bicycle, triggering the charger's self-protection function. You should check your e-bike battery and replace it if necessary.
